Getting Here

Nonstop flights to Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau Int’l Airport (YUL) are available from many U.S. cities. YUL is a short Uber or Metro bus ride from the city center.

Road trip, anyone? Montreal is a 5-6 hour drive from New York City and Boston. Greyhound also offers daily bus service to Montreal from both locations.

Getting Around

While Ubers are plentiful, the Montreal Metro is Canada’s busiest transit system, with affordable subway and bus routes throughout the city. Passes are available at most drug stores.

There is plenty to see on foot! We love strolling Boulevard St. Laurent, Little Burgundy, Mile End, Plateau, and Old Port, to name a few charming areas.

If you came by car and hotel parking is not your thing, there are plenty of public garage options to stow your vehicle. We’ve been able to find affordable, private downtown garages with 24-hour access, in-out privileges, and online reservations.

Street parking is available, but beware, the signs are en français!
